Rules for Calling Talk Radio Shows

1.) Remember what kind of show it is your calling. Political, religious, or a potpurri like Coast to Coast AM.
2.) Carefully think about the question you want to ask.( Write it out if necessary)
3.)Make your comment or question relevant to the topic being discussed.
4.)Be polite
5.)If you find the response inadequate do not become abusive.
6.) If you find the response abusive complain to the station or FCC. Do not send weird disturbing, and abusive emails. This goes double if your religious sensibilities have been offended.

P.S. If you're the host of a talk radio show, unless its part of the act, there's no need for you to be nasty either. If you have a guest on that's skewering a certain religion or viewpoint, let your guest make the case. Treat your guests the same. If someone is going to upset your regular listenning audience, let your guest be your be the fall guy. Becoming the issue, particularly if it causes a loss of viewers is unhealthy to your employment. Let your guest go there and do the skewering, if you feel it's necessary.
After all, as AlCapone used to says, " When you have to kill someone, it costs nothing to be polite."
